Nurse Practitioner
Description
Nurse Practitioners are directly responsible for patient care during procedures and indirectly responsible for coordination and information sharing of both pre and post-procedural care. NPs exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills. They are expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the physician. We are looking for seasoned professionals to join our team and become a valuable member of our well-established practice.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Performing patient assessments and reviewing patient information
• Coordinating planned nursing care with other health care team members
• Identifying goals, formulating plans of patient care and evaluating outcomes
• Training and instructing new personnel as necessary
• Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of a clean work environment
• Assisting with organization and development of policies and procedures
Experience
Two years work experience as a nurse preferred
License/Certification
Current California Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license
