MRI Technologist

Description

Our prestigious medical office is searching for a seasoned professional to join our team. Under the direct supervision of the physician, the MRI Technologist will operate a variety of diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, high field magnets and RF Transmitters/Receivers. Applicants are expected to demonstrate problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize issues in a timely matter. Viable candidates must have a strong understanding of equipment safety and maintenance, and be able to illustrate professional judgment at all times.


Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

•   Documenting all measurements necessary to process examination

•   Working as a team member to accomplish departmental goals and perform all parameters of the position using good judgment

•   Performing all procedures to insure and maintain a safe work environment

•   Communicating effectively with patients, their families, colleagues, and physicians

•   ​Ensuring the machinery is up to date with preventative maintenance and is performing in a serviceable manner

•   Producing high quality images to each patient post-MRI scan


Experience

One year of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred


License/Certification

​Certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARMRIT
BLS/CPR certification
