Call Center Representative
Description
Our busy medical group in Oakland is looking for a Call Center Representitive to assist with incoming calls and patient requests. We are conveniently located in the Pill Hill neighborhood. A free shuttle is available from the MacArthur Bart Station and drops you off across the street.
Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to multi-task, and be detail-oriented. Working in the Call Center means constant interactions and interruptions, so applicants must demonstrate the ability to prioritize changing situations in a calm and professional manner. Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Answering incoming calls following guidelines for telephone etiquette and positive customer service
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Communicating with appropriate staff regarding changes or customer service issues
• Handling patient calls with a positive and service-oriented attitude
• Providing accurate and appropriate information to all callers according to group policies and procedures
• Observing patient confidentiality at all times
• Other duties as required
Experience
Experience working in a medical office setting is a plus
